A Simple DC Regulated Power Supply for 24 Volt Constant Voltage

Here is a simple Power Supply that can produce 24 Volt constant DC at 1 Ampere current rating, useful to power your motors, LED lights, and battery charging too.
Schematic -
Remember, 7824 has a maximum input voltage of 40 volts, but to make it on the safer side make sure the voltage does not exceed 35 volts. Use a 0-24 Volt 1 Ampere transformer either EI core or Toroidal, both will work. 7824 should be used with a heatsink. Bridge rectifier you can use 4 numbers of 1N4007 diodes. The electrolytic capacitors are 50Volt types, ceramic capacitors are 50Volt types. Do not use Center Tapped transformers in this schematic.
